The charms of Niijima Island lie in its beautiful white sand beaches and blue sea.
It is one of the Tokyo Islands (the Insular Tokyo Metropolis) and can be reached in two and a half hours by a high-speed jet ferry.
The Habushiura Beach is somewhat of a metonym for Niijima Island, fascinating visitors with its beautiful 7 km (4.4 mi) long shoreline.

Ca si cum nu masini, ci culoarea florilor de cires ar circula pe acea autostrada – trei benzi de roz parfumant, in orice directie ne-am plimba privirea.
